Aider Product Update Webinar: New Features & Roadmap Reveal

In this session, Richard Snell and Marx Castro unveiled Aider’s newest product features and upcoming roadmap as of August 2025.

Highlights include the first practice management integration with Karbon, allowing firms to sync workflows, checklists, documents, and audit trails seamlessly between platforms. A new Fixed Assets module in Period Close was also introduced, enabling better checks on balances, depreciation, and miscodings.

Marx showcases reporting enhancements - including customizable templates, AI-powered executive summaries in table format, and an improved AI Assistant with prompt optimization to help firms scale advisory insights.

Looking ahead, Richard and Marx shared major roadmap updates:

• Write-back functionality to fix data issues in Aider and push changes directly to Xero/QBO.
• Smarter alerts for inconsistent coding, missing attachments, and duplicates.
• A new client queries feature to streamline collaboration during period close.

Finally, guest speaker Mark Holton (Smithink) discussed how firms can build profitable, scalable advisory services with the right systems, processes, and people, offering a practical workshop opportunity for Aider users.
